Steffens fourth in SaltCity Silver Crown start
St. Charles, Missouri's Kyle Steffens put the pedal to the metal Saturday evening at SaltCity Racing in Hutchinson, Kansas, guiding his Performance Plus Global Logistics Silver Crown sprinter to a top-five result. In fact, the fourth-place outcome - Steffens' best-ever at the Kansas State Fairgrounds - concluded in dramatic fashion, forced to coast across the Salt City 100 finish line after running out of fuel.
Steffens' SaltCity effort commenced from the outside of row five, forced to start deep due to his qualifying effort.
