Steffens sixth in Coles County's Road to the Dome; Accepts Gateway Dirt Nationals invitation
It was a big weekend for Kyle Steffens, not only cashing in for a top-ten (without brakes) in Coles County Speedway's Road to the Dome program on Sunday, September 28, but the St. Charles, Missouri, native went on to be officially invited to the Gateway Dirt Nationals in St. Louis, Missouri - he accepted the invitation. The annual Gateway Dirt Nationals, an indoor program within The Dome at America's Center, is set to take shape on December 4-6, 2025.
Steffens, who recently concluded his USAC Silver Crown schedule, finished sixth in Coles County's Road to the Dome DIRTcar UMP Modified program, advancing three positions from the inside of row five. As hinted, he was forced to do so without much braking power.
Other weekend highlights include fishing sixth in Tri-City Speedway's Mod Mania event on Friday, September 26; he started in the exact same position.
