Steffens competes in Rich Vogler Classic at Winchester
Kyle Steffens returned with the USAC Silver Crown National Championship over the weekend as Winchester Speedway (Winchester, Ind.) hosted the 33rd annual Rich Vogler Classic on Sunday.
Joining 21 entries for Honest Abe Roofing Qualifying, Kyle clocked in 18th-fastest aboard his Performance Plus Global Logistics No. 8 entry. Rolling off on the ninth row for the 100-lap A-Main, Steffen suffered a mechanical issue while running 12th that sidelined him on lap 49.
