Steffens eighth in Rich Vogler Classic at Winchester Speedway
Kyle Steffens returned to pavement racing over the weekend as Winchester Speedway hosted the 34th annual Rich Vogler Classic for the USAC Silver Crown National Championship.
With 19 entries tackling the high-banked, third-mile asphalt oval, Steffens qualified 16th with a lap of 15.891 seconds.
He rebounded in the 100-lap feature, methodically working his way forward to gain eight positions and finish eighth—his latest top-10 effort in USAC Silver Crown competition.
Following the event, Steffens continues to sit sixth in the series’ point standings.
